High school is something I've been looking forward to every since I was young, but the first day was something I've been dreading the most. The first day can be quite a challenge. Just walking through the halls in high school is almost the same as tumbling your way through an elbow-bumping surge of teenagers. I was completely lost. I felt like a small fish in a huge pond.
When I first walked through the doors, I thought to myself this is it. This is High School. I was sweating through my socks. I was worried of being an outcast and not fitting in, kind of like a young man who got made fun of the first day of school.
The young man who was probally a sophmore or a freshman staring at his looks and expressions. He looked confused and lost. He walked out of the bathroom and had toilet paper stuck to his foot. I felt so bad. I was scared that, that would happen to me too. Strangers I never knew was starting with embarressment for the young man.
Looking around the halls, I saw faces I've never seen and strangers who are soon to be friends. Hopefully. I wonder what my life will be like in High School. The time will come and I want to have High School to be the best time of my life like my parents have been telling me it would be. I can't wait for my second day of High School.
