Hobbies Make Me.

Some people say that home is where the heart is, but for me softball is where the heart is. I have been playing softball since I was four years old. In my family, playing softball is a huge thing for me. My family takes it seriously. Honestly, I can say that I love the game. The way it makes me feel is like I can do anything. Whenever I make a good play or when I get a good hit and the crowd is cheering, it just automatically puts a great big grin on my face.

I have many other interests too. Like dancing is something that I absolutely love to do too. Dancing and just goofing off really defines me in general. I am a fun person and I can go with the flow. Plus, dancing is something that everyone can do and express themselves. It is a way I like to get out of my shell and be creative.

I also like to draw. Whenever I have a piece of paper and a pencil you can always find me drawing, or at least doodling. I like to express myself on a piece of paper and get my feelings out on paper. If I was in a happy mood I would draw the sun and if I was sad I would draw rain drops. Honestly, in about everything I do I can always find some way to express myself.

Another hobby of mine is knit. Some people say that knitting is just for older people but honestly young people can enjoy knitting. It really makes me peaceful and it is kind of like my excape from reality. Knitting can actually be a very fun and relaxing activity. I would and I do recommend it to all my friends and family, and also people around my age.

Sometimes I like to sing too. When I was younger I was in many plays and I had solos. Once I got older I kind of lost interest, but now I am getting into it more. Singing is a good way to also be creative. Obviously, with every hobbie, sport, or activity I do is a creative way to express myself. I think that it is good if people have hobbies and different ones too because hobbies that people do defines themselves. I know my hobbies do and my hobbies in general can explain to someone who I am.

  2. I remember when you didn't want me to read this in class. WHY!? It's a great blog. Granted, its not that serious, but it doesn't have to be! Very well written...
